The Federation of Rajasthan Handicraft Exporters (FORHEX) is established with the following aims and objectives:
- Provide a unified platform for members to address common challenges and offer effective solutions.
- Disseminate timely and accurate information on Export/Import Policy, Industrial Licensing Policy, Customs Duty, Central Excise Duty, and relevant legislative updates.
- Advocate and liaise with Local, State, and Central Governments and other bodies to secure technical concessions and support for the handicraft industry and exporters.
- Offer comprehensive assistance to members, excluding direct trading activities.
- Organize seminars, lectures, and workshops to promote handicraft exports.
- Undertake promotional and developmental initiatives for the benefit of members.
- Manage funds through membership fees, donations, and contributions solely for the advancement of member interests.
- Seek affiliation with relevant local, state, and national bodies when deemed beneficial.
- Represent the federation before government authorities and other entities supportive of federation objectives.
- Organize the prestigious “FORHEX Fair” since 2009, a unique trade fair dedicated to enhancing the handicraft and textile industries of Rajasthan, benefiting artisans and enriching the cultural heritage of the region.
